Universal Consolidated was founded by Andrew Keith Walker, an author, journalist, broadcaster & podcaster with a long career in design, tech & digital culture.

Andrew started working in WWW & digital media in 1995, co-founded a top 100 digital agency (Thin Martian, 1998), a digital news company (Tweetminster, 2009) & a machine learning/big data analytics company (Semetric, 2010 - now part of Apple Inc.) His work has pioneered the use of mobile apps, analytics tools, social media campaigns & content for brands, newspapers, TV & radio - including Microsoft, Vodafone, Nokia, British Airways, BBC News, Universal Pictures, Universal Music, Channel 4, ITV, Metro, Xbox & more.

Along the way he’s built a network of trusted partners and contacts like Wordsmith Digital and Concept TV, building and managing scalable teams that can tackle any digital project.

Andrew has written and broadcast for The Guardian, The Independent, BBC Radio 4, and continues to host & produce shows & write books. He hosts the Central Bank & Sovereign Wealth Fund Forum in Luxembourg, and can often be found reporting from live events for our podcast partners, We Podcast You.
